I was invited by the just born Rotary Club of Greater Hyderabad, India, to address its Members on Vocational Service Opportunities on 25th June, 2008 for about one hour. The meeting also coincided with brief celebration of receiving the news that Club has been Chartered on 18th June, 2008. I have briefed the audience about How a person becomes a Rotarian by classification of his/her vocation, Importance of Rotary Vocational Service as the second avenue of service, Areas in which the Vocational Service could be performed such as (1) High ethical Standards (2) Four way test followed by Rotarians (3) Vocational Awarness (4) Vocational Awards (5) Career Guidance & development (6) Employer -employee relations (7) Vocation at Work (8) Rotary International Volunteers.
I enjoyed the interaction with the Rotarians during this meeting. I thank Club President Rtn. Venu Babu, the Rotary District Secretary Rtn. Rammohan Rao who invited me and all the Members present who were enthusiastic to listen & learn on my favourite subject of Rotary Vocation Service.
